Meet your singing coach

Picture
A singer songwriter, Rozelle began her professional career more than forty years ago in musical theatre and film before transitioning to entertainment television where she sang, danced and acted in a variety show for several years.
Rozelle left the entertainment industry to raise and homeschool her five children during which time she had opportunities to sing and perform at church events, weddings, concerts and as a jazz singer in a Big Band. In the last few years she has worked as a guest music director for Merit Academy's Musical Theatre Program
in which she taught the music and coached individuals in vocal performance and technique.
As much as Rozelle loves performing, she loves coaching and mentoring young singers. “It is a thrill to work with young people and see them achieve things they never thought possible,” she says. “For some, singing is a daunting and vulnerable endeavour and it is so rewarding to see individuals overcome fears, gain confidence and grow as a person.”
Rozelle teaches Sing Club group classes and offers private vocal lessons for a limited number of students. If you are interested in learning more please text her at: 385-498 -1729

Meet your dance coach

Unlike Lina Lamont, the “triple threat” from the musical “Singing in the Rain", Lorelei can sing, dance and act.
She has been involved in all aspects of theater in school and community productions for nearly six years and has loved her experience behind the scenes, as a performer and as a choreographer.

She has been a Merit Academy Dance Company member for four years where she has trained in numerous dance styles including ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary and ballroom.
She has choreographed more than 20 dance pieces for theater, festivals and concerts, most notably her choreographic piece ‘Baba Yetu’ which was awarded Superior at the Utah High School Dance Festival in March of 2023.
Lorelei is excited to work with our Sing Club students and hopes that her love of music and dance will inspire and encourage them.
